Our resident Maxxis graphic designer Neil Catchpole started riding in 2017, after he caught the bug at last year's Ard Rock. A keen photographer, Neil is using his Ard Rock journey to not only pedal hard but also to create some stunning images and memories along the way.
A relative newbie to the MTB scene, Neil approaches each new challenge on the trail with focus and determination as he strives to boost his fitness levels and push to be a contender at the Ard Rock Enduro Sport 2018.
Paul Smith, ex BMX racer turned Pro Drifter, currently races for Maxxis Sponsored Team Japspeed. Affectionately known as ‘Smokey’ on the drifting scene, Paul has decided to swap tarmac for trails and take up the challenge of entering Ard Rock Enduro Sport 2018 for the first time.
Paul’s competitive streak and speedy approach to the trails will ensure he will be pushing hard to shake up the leader board at Ard Rock.
Olly Morris, from Pro Ride MTB, is an elite downhill racer for Maxxis sponsored team Intense Racing UK at World Cup Level. With a background as a qualified educational practitioner and a lover of mountain bikes, Olly successfully combined his experiences to become the Pro Ride head coach for the south.
Olly is dedicated to helping all riders of all abilities achieve their riding goals. With a relative newbie and a speed hunting drift driver to coach, can he help Paul and Neil get #ArdRockReady?
