Maxxis Kawasaki r5 Maxxis ACU British Motocross Championship

<p>Round 5 of the Maxxis ACU British Motocross Championship saw the Maxxis Kawasaki by LPE team head to the world famous Foxhill Moto Parc. After poor weather at the previous rounds of the Championship, the team was pleased to be greeted with sunshine.</p>
<p>The day started with the MX1 practice and qualifying session and following the first session it was Jack Brunell with the first time out of the three team riders in 7th place, with Brad in 10th and Dorren just missing out on Superpole by just 0.3 seconds in 13th.In the Superpole final both riders suffered a small moment mistakes and slipped back to 10th place for Brad and 12th for Jack.</p>
<p><br /> After the lunch break it time for the first race of the day and Brad produced a great start and moved into 3rd place early on. Meanwhile Jack and Dorren both made strong starts and were running inside the top 10 in 7th and 8th places. Soon after moving into third place Brad collided with Jonathan Barragan and remounted in 9th place behind Jack and Dorren, unfortunately the crash had caused damage to the machine and Brad was forced to pit and finished down in 14th place. Jack and Dorren each rode hard all race long and finished up with Dorren finishing sixth and Jack in seventh.</p>
<p>The second race of the day saw Brad and Jack both make top 10 starts and start to push forward early on. Dorren suffered a poor start but quickly moved into the points and the top 15. Brad was soon into 7th place and ran a lonely race to the flag. Jack produced another strong race to finish in 10th place, while Dorren suffered a crash in the valley and damaged the front of the machine and had to retire from the race.</p>
