Maxxis has launched a contest to find its' most creative and committed dealers. The 'Maxxis Extra Mile' competition has been launched to find the people most actively promoting the brand, and is open to all car and commercial vehicle tyre dealers registered for the Maxxis rewards programme through Stapleton's.
The ultimate prize is a trip to Thailand, and there will also be a number of runner-up prizes including bonus reward points. The annual Maxxis dealer trip is run in conjunction with Stapleton's, and has become the talk of the tyre industry. The highly sought after spaces on the tour are usually reserved for those achieving the best sales results, but this year will be a little different, as UK MD Derek McMartin explains: "Dealers play a crucial role in our success, and I think our rewards programme reflects how important we consider their support. It is undoubtedly one of the best out there, and we will continue to give back to the people that make us successful.
"In addition to the straightforward race for the best financial figures, we are adding a wildcard element to this year's competition for places. We're looking for the dealer that shows the most creativity or passion when promoting the Maxxis brand. We're looking for good sales pitches, innovative uses of point of sales materials, counter displays, songs or anything else dealers use to get our messages across."
Dealers wanting to enter a picture, video or written submission will be able to do so now through the Maxxis Facebook page, @Maxxis_Tyres twitter profile orTripToThailand@Maxxis.co.uk email address. Entries will be judged in October and the winner informed in writing well before the trip takes off in November.
