Maxxis Forbes Asia Fab 50 Celebrated

Companies which made Forbes’ Asia Fabulous 50 list took a bow as they were formally recognized at an award ceremony on the 19th November at the Regent Hotel in Beijing. Cheng Shin Rubber Ind. Co., Ltd. trading as Maxxis International was one of just two Taiwanese companies honoured at the ceremony.

The Forbes Asia Fab 50 list was published in September by Forbes Asia, and it is the second year running for Maxxis to be included in the list. As the magazine noted in explaining Maxxis’ repeat appearance on the list, the company’s net profit increased by 86% last year to $530 million.

This year’s list was whittled down from 1,220 companies in the Asia-Pacific region with a minimum of $3 billion in annual revenue or market capitalization to 50. In compiling the list, Forbes considered revenue, earnings, returns on capital, share-price movement and outlook.
