Maxxis – 9th position and rising

Continuing its progress as one of the world’s top tyre companies, Maxxis International has moved up to ninth place in the 2012 Global Tyre Company Rankings produced by Tire Business.

Tire Business based Maxxis’s new, higher ranking on global sales of US$4.2 billion in 2011.  The latest rankings, which were released on August 27, saw Maxxis move up from tenth on the list.

Maxxis attributes its advance in the standings of the world’s leading tyre producers to a long term strategy emphasising trust, service and quality throughout its worldwide organisation.  More recently, there has been focus on a brand strategy which seeks to set Maxxis apart by reinforcing the differences between Maxxis and other tyre manufacturers in terms of the company’s advances in the manufacturing process, technical excellence in research and development, strict quality control standards and an absolute quality ethic shared by its 22,000 workforce around the world.

For over 45 years Maxxis International has delivered high quality tyres to both original equipment and aftermarket customers.  The Maxxis range includes products for automotive, light truck, motorcycle, ATV, bicycle, lawn and garden and industrial use.  The company has operations in Asia, Europe and North America, and its products are distributed in approximately 170 countries.
