Maxxis International and its UK distribution partner, Stapleton’s (Tyre Services) Ltd, used the Maxxis Annual Conference to announce the appointment of Alan Littlewood to the position of Maxxis Brand Manager.
Maxxis International and its UK distribution partner, Stapleton’s (Tyre Services) Ltd, used the Maxxis Annual Conference to announce the appointment of Alan Littlewood to the position of Maxxis Brand Manager. The move has been made to help strengthen the Maxxis brand throughout the UK, and further develop the partnership between Maxxis, Stapleton’s and the Maxxis Key Dealer network.
Having now been in partnership for 2 years, Maxxis International feels that the appointment has come at an exciting time for both companies, as UK managing director, Derek McMartin, confirms: “The appointment of Alan is a great step forward for all concerned. Opening up a more effective line of communication between manufacturer, distributor and retailer is not only going to help build the Maxxis brand, it will help to evolve the range in terms of product development, ensure that we continue to support the dealers in any way possible, and make sure that Maxxis grows its market share in-line with its position as one of the top ten tyre manufacturers in the world.”
Alan has a wealth of experience having held various roles in the UK tyre industry over the past 12 years and will now be responsible for all aspects of communication between Maxxis, Stapleton’s and the Key Dealers, as well as co-coordinating; product development, sales, internal distribution, purchasing, marketing/PR, pricing, shop fits and Key Dealer requirements.
On taking up his appointment, Alan commented “Maxxis has a great brand presence globally and that is now fast emerging within the UK market.
