Rider, ChainReactionCycles.com, January 2020:
“Inflate tubeless easily and works well as an all-conditions rear tyre.”
Rider, ChainReactionCycles.com, January 2019:
“I've been running these for about a year, on a couple of bikes, XC and trail/enduro, front and rear or as a front tyre with an Ikon on the rear, run them on hardpack, in mud, wet roots, in the Alps through rocky descents, worked well in all conditions”
Rider, ChainReactionCycles.com, October 2019:
“This is an excellent all-round tyre, great grip in wet/dry conditions, Rolls very well. Can’t go wrong with Maxxis.”
Rider, ChainReactionCycles.com, October 2019:
“Just make sure you choose the right compound to suit your style of riding. I chose the 3C max speed, that gives you a harder compound top centre for faster rolling and soft compound to the outer of the tyre to give better grip for cornering, I tested this tyre at Cannock chase on all 3 trails in the pouring rain and I could not fault it. For Trail centres/ cross country riding in the wet this tyre cannot be beaten.”
Rider, ChainReactionCycles.com, November 2019:
“This tyre is a great rear tyre, matched with a high roller 2 or minion dhf, good grip everywhere, and clears mud very well, it’s also fast considering the amount of grip. Not as grippy as a dhr but much better all rounder if don’t ride rocky downhill stuff”
