Overland magazine, November 2019:

The popular adventure motorbiking magazine Overland magazine fitted Presa Detours to its Honda 1200 Cross Tourer going into winter 2019.

“Our big Honda is very definitely the office pool bike, and is extremely comfortable, so is often pressed in to service for two-up distance work, which can have severe consequences for rear tyre wear. Since fitting we have only done 1,000 miles and ironically it’s all been solo riding, but I can report good straight-line stability, extremely easy roll-in to corners with the gently rounded shoulders and very good feel under heavy braking.”

Rider magazine, July 2008:

An American magazine, Rider magazine, tested the Presa Detour when it was released.

“No complaints on the way these tires handled; we liked the stability, and traction was good in all conditions. The Detour carcass seemed a bit stiff, but the tires did not ride harshly or become noisy as they wore. No complaints on the pricing either, Maxxis lets its dealers set retail, and we saw numbers in the $200 per set range, a real value.”
