Distributing in approximately 170 countries and fast becoming
one of the most respected tyre companies in the world,
Maxxis' turnover reached just under (US) $3
billion last year.
Maxxis was first established in 1967 and has
since seen rapid worldwide growth. By 2007,
Maxxis' revenue had more than quadrupled, and last
year's results show that this dynamic company is still growing.
Maxxis has operations in Asia, Europe, North
America and the Middle East . The company employs more than
22,000 people, including top engineers who use the best raw
materials, equipment and technology in five research facilities
around the world to produce Maxxis tyres.
The company continually looks to improve tyre performance and
has now invested in a new, state-of-the-art private proving
ground. This track will allow Maxxis to
expand its already strong research and development capability.
Last year produced a positive result for Maxxis
as it moves closer to its long-term vision: to become a highly
respected, world-class tyre company, with a strong global identity
and a loyal customer base. In 2010, Maxxis
is increasing its profile by becoming more prominent within the
world of sport, associating itself with high performance races,
teams, events and individuals around the world.
