Sports Action them for Maxxis 2012 Calendar Under: Maxxis News on 03 January 2012

If you're looking for sports action you'll certainly find it with Maxxis in 2012.  The tyre manufacturer has responded to positive trade feedback for its '2 in 1' calendar by showcasing its sports sponsorship activities around the world and creating a Maxxis Babes calendar which also picks up the sporting theme.

Maxxis believes that a strong sponsorship programme is essential to recruiting and keeping lifelong customers, and because it is active in such a wide range of sports, young people can get to know the brand long before they learn to drive.

For 2012 the Maxxis corporate calendar is therefore an action-packed journey through drifting, motocross, British Superbikes, off-road racing, cycling, karting, rock crawling and ATV racing.  Each leaf features an individual image or montage of action shots which reinforce the scope of Maxxis' sponsorship and its highly successful partnerships with global events like the Australian Open Tennis Championship plus Maxxis-sponsored teams, including Liverpool FC and Team Japspeed, and sportsmen at the top of their game.

The Maxxis Babes calendar has an international flavour, as it features not only the girls who worked with Maxxis in the UK during 2011, but also girls chosen to represent the brand in South America.  The Latino Babes are pictured in a number of striking poses, while the UK girls are shown doing what they do best - raising awareness of Maxxis products at car shows, exhibitions and Maxxis-sponsored series like the Maxxis British Drift Championship and the ACU Maxxis British Motocross Championship.

"We've had some terrific feedback about our calendars over the past couple of years with tyre retailers telling us how much they like the '2 for 1' concept, so we hope the mix of Maxxis Babes photographed in the UK and overseas, plus worldwide sports in which Maxxis has a major sponsorship presence will prove popular in 2012," says Maxxis International UK's managing director Derek McMartin.

The Maxxis 2012 calendar will be available through the UK's largest tyre distributor, Stapleton's Tyre Services - which takes on exclusive distribution rights for Maxxis car, van and 4x4 tyres from January 2012 - and Bickers, the motorcycle division of Maxxis International UK.

Selected pages from the corporate 2012 calendar and the new Maxxis Babes offering will soon be available to download as free desktop wallpaper from www.maxxis.co.uk.
