Wrex Racing Dominates Maxxis King of France

Maxxis team Wrex Racing dominated the competition at Ultra4 Europe’s Maxxis King of France event that took place at L Aerodrome, France.

Although boasting a fast and brutal track, with a variety of 4WD obstacles, Maxxis managed to rule the podium. Taking on the serious rock obstacles, tree-lined sections and deep-water crossings, Wrex Racing stole the show in the legends class.

Wrex Racing, comprising of sponsored driver Dan Elias and his co-driver Nick Bolt, approached the event on 37” standard spec Maxxis Trepadors, with a hunger for success. Having already secured last year’s Maxxis Ultra4 Europe series champion status in the legends class, the duo were determined to go for a hattrick, and prove that they will settle for nothing less than number 1. Making their mark throughout the prologue, night stage, and both days of racing, Wrex Racing landslided to the victory; securing the Maxxis King of France title in the legends class.

Commenting on this, Dan Elias of Wrex Racing, said: “What a weekend! We are both so thrilled to have done ourselves, our family, our friends, and Maxxis proud. As a fairly new team, we are really conscious about making our mark, and forging a great name for ourselves. We want Wrex Racing to be looked up to as ones to watch in our class, and I think we’re certainly making waves in achieving that. We raced on Trepador tyres, and they felt great. They definitely give us the confidence we need to push ourselves harder, as we fight for victory.”
