Maxxis Rides on with the British Motocross Championship

Maxxis, in partnership with the ACU (Auto Cycle Union), is delighted to announce that it will continue to be the title sponsor of the British Motocross Championship for a further three years. This is great news for Maxxis as UK managing director, Derek McMartin confirms:

“Having been the title sponsor for the British Motocross Championship for eleven years now, we are pleased to announce that we will be continuing out partnership for further three years. The partnership has not only allowed us to help the British Motocross Championship develop into one of the best championships in the world, but has also helped Maxxis increase its visibility to be seen at the very highest level of off-road competition. This has enabled us to demonstrate our strengths and products to an international audience, and we look forward to seeing our tyres give riders the success they deserve.”

Series Manager, Brian Higgings commented, “Obviously we are delighted to continue with Maxxis Tyres as our valued Title Sponsor. Their commitment to the series over the past decade has brought stability to the championship and allowed us to develop it into one of the premier domestic series in Europe. To be honest, we are now into the hoover-vacuum series scenario and the word Maxxis is used instead of British Championship when people speak about the Championship. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Derek McMartin of Maxxis International for his support and we look forward to three more successful years, starting on March 16th at Landrake.”

The official signing process will take place at the Motorcycle Trade Expo show in mid-January.
