Maxxis Sponsors Yankees, Dodgers and Nationals in
2012
Continuing its long time support of major athletic
competition, Maxxis will sponsor the New York Yankees, Los Angeles
Dodgers and Washington Nationals baseball teams for the 2012
season. Maxxis' signage will be visible behind home plate
during many of each team's home games, providing exposure for the
company's brand to legions of baseball fans around the
world.
The Yankees, Dodgers and Nationals begin their regular
season in early April. Based internationally in Taiwan, Maxxis is
also linked to the Nationals through one of its starting pitchers,
Taiwan native Chien Ming Wang.
The company's sponsorship of major teams and events
extends around the world. Maxxis International is an Official
Sponsor of the Australian Open, the largest sports event in the
southern hemisphere and the first of the grand slam tournaments
each year. Maxxis is also the Official Tire of the Open, held this
year from January 16-29.
Maxxis-UK is active in sponsorships as well. The
company supports the English Premier League's popular Liverpool
Football Club, and also recently announced sponsorship of the Swan
Yamaha British Superbike team, the 2011 British Superbike
champions.Maxxis UK are also title sponsors of the Maxxis British
Drift Championship and the Maxxis ACU British Motocross
Championship.
In Norway, Maxxis sponsors the Frisk Asker Tigers
hockey team, whose games reach approximately 100,000 TV viewers in
the country. The Tigers are eight-time Norwegian
champions.
Maxxis is proud to sponsor all of these fine teams and
wishes them the best in the coming season.
