Maxxis Gets Set For A Weekend Of Performance Action! Under: Maxxis Sport on 05 August 2010

Tyre manufacturer Maxxis is looking forward to a busy weekend of two and four-wheel action as it will be making its presence felt at a major performance/tuning show and supporting MSS Colchester Kawasaki at the British Superbike Championship.

From August 6-8 Maxxis will be at Santa Pod Raceway for Ultimate Street Car, the self-styled 'fastest, hottest, largest and loudest modified car festival in Europe'.  Demo vehicles from a variety of Drag Racing classes will be running throughout the weekend, including the 270mph Fireforce Jet Car, while the other main attractions include 'Run What Ya Brung' track action with prizes for the fastest in each class, drift displays and rides, freestyle motocross demonstrations and huge club displays.

Maxxis will be making the most of its affiliation with Max Power magazine, which is staging the Max Power Live show hosted by DJ Richie Don and will be organising competitions from the Maxxis hospitality unit.

Visitors to Brands Hatch will enjoy a triple header on August 6-8 when the British Superbike Championship moves to Brands Hatch for round eight.  As the teams prepare for the biggest event of the season Maxxis, which sponsors MSS Colchester Kawasaki, will be cheering on riders Gary Mason and Simon Andrews as they fight to make it into the top ten.

When the fans are not glued to the thrilling BSB action they will get the chance to meet the riders during pit walks and enjoy demonstration laps from World Superbike aces Leon Haslam and Sylvain Guintoli, along with air displays, live music and classic bike displays.

Maxxis will have its striking hospitality units at each event and the Maxxis Babes will be out and about chatting with fans, posing for photographs and handing out promotional materials.
