Maxxis Sponsors New York 'Knicks'

Maxxis has added another prominent team to its sponsorship
programme.
The company will be an Official Partner of the New York Knicks
basketball team for the 2011-12 season's remaining games.
With its global headquarters in Taiwan, Maxxis' sponsorship of
the Knicks is especially fitting given the success of rising star
Jeremy Lin. Lin, whose parents are from Taiwan, has scored at
least 20 points in the last six games, inspiring "Linsanity" in
basketball fans around the world. The Harvard graduate was
called upon as a starting player for the team just this month, and
in less than ten days became a genuine phenomenon, gracing the
cover of the current Sports Illustrated and making headlines in
many other publications.
During home games, Maxxis signage will appear courtside for 30
seconds of TV coverage on an LED board at Madison Square Garden.
This placement will provide prominent exposure for the Maxxis brand
to both 20,000 spectators in the arena and millions of fans
watching on TV. The Maxxis logo will also appear on the
GardenVision Jumbotron and LED ribbon boards during the Road Ahead,
which promotes the team's upcoming schedule. The company will
show appreciation for the team's fans by sponsoring a game night
giveaway, with an item displaying the brands of both Maxxis and the
Knicks available to attendees.
Maxxis is proud to sponsor the New York Knicks and wishes them
the best for the rest of the season.
For over 43 years, Maxxis International has delivered high
quality tyres to both original equipment and aftermarket customers.
Maxxis offers products for automotive, light truck,
motorcycle, ATV, bicycle, lawn and garden and industrial use.
The company has operations in Asia, Europe and North America,
and its products are distributed in approximately 170
countries.
