Maxxis announces OE Tyre partnership for KTM EXC range

KTM have selected original equipment tyre partner Maxxis' world
beating FIM approved MaxxEnduro Tyre to provide the ultimate in
grip and control for their 2013 EXC range of Enduro machines.
Maxxis ongoing partnership with the FIM World Enduro
Championship has allowed long-term development of the MaxxEnduro
with KTM's un-compromising factory research and development teams,
resulting in a proven rubber compound that shrugs off the extreme
conditions of competitive Enduro events, whilst still offering high
levels of grip. The tread pattern features stable side blocks,
which ensure accurate steering and the razor-sharp handling
demanded by top-level Enduro competitors. The FIM approved
MaxxEnduro tyres are also E-marked and fully road legal.
Maxxis tyres will be fitted as OE to all 15 models in the KTM
EXC range, from the 125 EXC - The ideal bike for youngsters in the
E1 racing class, to the 500 EXC "6 Days" Edition - The ultimate in
4-stroke performance, specially designed for the ISDE, the worlds
most demanding Enduro competition.
Maxxis, now boast OEM tyre deals with a wide range of
manufactures, including KTM, Honda, Polaris, Suzuki and Yamaha to
name just a few.
